Replaced 3way switch, humbuckers and the Jimmy page wiring. Sounds great, love the flexibility it adds. Not a fan of the connector block, screw terminals would be much preferred.
well put together .... easy install and great tone thx
This is a very elegant solution if you want this wiring design. Be aware that if you’re installing this in an Epiphone with metric hardware, you’ll need to widen the holes for the potentiometers to accommodate the wider shafts. Best to do that with a hand auger. I’ve already wired this circuit from parts and it was a challenge. If I’d had the option I’d have used one of these instead; you’re better off getting this harness unless you are a wiz at following complicated wiring diagrams. Once I got it installed, it works perfectly and vastly improved the overall sound quality of my Les Paul. (Full disclosure: I paired it with Seymour Duncan Pearly Gates pickups.) Totally love the results.
These were advertised in my Facebook feed over the 25-26 Holiday season. I was intrigued, I recently fought with soldering a SINGLE push/pull pot and was curious how well this kit would fit and how easy it would be to wire. I found a Firefly Elite husk (just neck and body with NO hardware) and decided to build a Jimmy Page-ish clone. I had to ream out the pot holes in the body to fit the CTS pots and between the larger holes and the flex in the kit, everything fit nicely AND was a dream to wire up! And I got a cool guitar out of the deal! LoL! I would recommend this kit! The next time I'm in the market for a kit, I'll be checking out Calitone to see if they have what I need!
Tremendous service, highly recommended! A+++++++++++++++
