Les Paul Jimmy Page Wiring Harness – Ultimate Versatility

Bring legendary Led Zeppelin tones to your Les Paul with this Jimmy Page–inspired wiring harness. Designed around the famous four push-pull layout, this harness unlocks a huge range of sounds—everything from classic Les Paul crunch to out-of-phase funk, single-coil sparkle, and fat series tones.

Features:

    • 4 × 500k CTS Long Shaft Push-Pull Pots

      • Bridge Volume: Splits the bridge humbucker.

      • Neck Volume: Splits the neck humbucker.

      • Bridge Tone: Engages out-of-phase wiring between the bridge & neck pickups.

      • Neck Tone: Switches bridge & neck pickups into series mode for a massive output boost.

    • Capacitors: 2 × 0.022µF Orange Drop (100V) for smooth, vintage tone roll-off.

    • Wiring: Vintage-style cloth push-back wire for classic looks and reliability.

    • Output Jack: Premium Switchcraft short mono jack.

    • Solderless PCB: Quick-connect board for pickups & switch, making installation clean, easy, and reversible.

Requirements

  • Fits Gibson or Epiphone Les Paul Only. For other imports look at our flex fit harness.
  • Pickups with 4-conductor wiring
  • USA fine spline knobs.
  • Toggle switch with 4 conduct wire. Vintage Braided wired switches may require soldering of ground wire to the terminal block. We highly recommend purchasing our Switchcraft 3-way toggle.

Why Players Love It:

This harness delivers all the iconic Jimmy Page wiring options:

  • Standard Les Paul tones

  • Coil-split single-coil sounds

  • Out-of-phase “nasal” tones (think “The Rover” and “Out On The Tiles”)

  • Powerful series tones for thick, almost humbucker-on-steroids output

  • 21 different usable combinations

With pro-grade components and a solderless design, you’ll have a roadworthy upgrade that expands your Les Paul’s voice far beyond stock wiring.

Disclaimer: Epiphone models may require widening the control holes to fit full-size CTS pots. We recommend using a guitar tuner reamer for a clean and safe modification

F.A.Q

Q: The volume pots do not completely turn off the signal, why?

A: Page likes to use the middle position and blend the pickups. In modern wiring, when one tone knob is at zero, the sound cuts off completely. This harness does not do that intentionally so you can blend without your sound cutting out abruptly. As a result, at zero you may slightly hear your guitar faintly and possibly a little hum. This is not a defect but a trade-off. The harness does have a kill switch type function by pulling the series/parallel switch in the bridge pickup position.

Q: Does this use 50's wiring?

A: No, it uses 60s wiring.

Q: When the coils are split and you pull the phase knob, does it swtich the active coil from screw to slug?

A: No it does not.
